Ireland's First Full Size IRB/IRFU approved Synthetic Rugby Pitch
Thornton Sports were engaged by UCD to design and build an artificial grass pitch for the playing
of competitive rugby and for training use.
It is the first full size synthetic rugby pitch in Ireland to meet IRB regulation 22 and the IRFU code.
It is one of the official training grounds of Leinster Rugby and the Irish National Squad.
It is also used extensively by UCD and is in constant demand by other schools and clubs.
